Darling's Little Dog Retreat has a few requirements for your dog to spend time with us. We are friendly in the home setting, and all dogs must be people and dog-friendly. Dogs must be 16 weeks or older to board with us and not over 50lbs. We are a mostly kennel-free boarding and daycare. For the safety of all dogs, all dogs will be kenneled at night. Overnight boarding dogs will be kenneled for a short nap of 2-3 hours per day every afternoon. Safety is our top priority, and fun-filled days.

Policy:

Drop-Off and Pick-Up times are as follows

Monday-Friday 9 am-11 am or 4-6 pm

Saturday and Sunday 9 am-11 am and 4 pm-6 pm

We do allow exceptions to these time frames for drop-off and pickup for a $20 fee. Out of hours times are 8-9 am/11-4 pm/6-7:30 pm. No dogs will be dropped off before 8 am or after 7:30 pm. All dogs not picked up by 7:30 will board an extra night and will have to be picked up between 9 am and 11 am the next day.

Boarding Pricing and Daycare Pricing:

Boarding is $50 per night. We require a 25% non-refundable deposit on all bookings. You may drop off either 9 am-11 am or 4 pm- 6 pm. All Dogs must be picked up the day they go home between 9 am and 11 am, or a $40 per dog daycare charge will be applied. A $20 out of hours fee will also be applied if picked up in the out of hours stated above. 

Daycare is $40 per day per dog, 9 am-6 pm You may drop off or pick up anytime during daycare hours. 

 

Holidays:

New Year/ July 4th/Thanksgiving, and Christmas, there is a 2-night stay minimum. 

 

Cancellation Policy:

We require a 48-hour notice for all cancellations this includes trips cut short. If your dog has a grooming appointment, they will be groomed the day before they leave. We require a 48-hour cancellation notice on all grooming appointments, also. You will be charged the full boarding cost and half the grooming cost if not cancelled 48 hours in advance. Payment will be due at pickup or when a late cancellation is applied. 

 

Grooming:

We mainly only groom dachshunds, but we will do other dogs sometimes. Please inquire about grooming your dog if it's not a dachshund. We also offer bath/, nails and ears for all breeds. 

Bath Only: All breeds: $30 

Nails Only: $10-$20 depending on breed. 

Grooming: Dachshunds, Smooth Coats/All Breed Smooth Coats $35 and up, depending on the dog. Please inquire for pricing. 

Long coats, Dachshunds and all long coat breeds start at $60 and up. Please inquire about pricing for your breed. 

We require a 48-hour cancellation on all grooming appointments, or a 50% fee will be applied and due at cancellation. 

 

Vaccination Requirements:

We require all dogs have current Rabies/Distemper/Bordetella and Canine Influenza vaccinations. 
You as the dogs owner are responsible for all cost for damages caused by your pet. This includes but is not limited to damaged or ruined dog beds/crated doors or chewed items and damage to our home.
